ERC-721

NFTs will be issued using the ERC-721 standard. This type of token is unique and can have different value than another token from the same Smart Contract, maybe due to its age, rarity or even something else like its visual.

Winevo Genesis Pass

Our launch collection will be the key to our digital wine cellar, the chalice into which the wine will be poured. At the beginning, the pass is generic and the same for everyone, but it will be able to interact with future Wine Collections. It will be a real digital chalice, users will be able to fill it with any Wine(vo) they hold, changing the appearance and differentiating themselves from other holders. Winevo Genesis Pass holders will always have a whitelist spot for future Wine Collections.

Wine Collections

A new collection will be created for each winery with which we'll parter. Also, we'll create different digital artworks for each bottle, these will be the NFTs that will narrate the story of the vintage and the characteristics of the wine. All will be stored in the metadata, so everything will be certified and immutable. The exclusive content may be different between wineries, but the core value always remains the same: Winevo will guarantee quality, authenticity and innovation. The user who will have the pleasure of collecting all the bottles in his digital wine cellar cannot help but have our Genesis Pass, which always will ensures the early access.

"The Harvest" - Our way to the Phygital

After the launch of each collection, the "Harvest" process will begin. This process involves the implementation of passive staking (the NFT will not leave your wallet, but it must not be listed on any marketplaces); your wine will "ferment" digitally just like a real wine. After this period, you will have the opportunity to claim the physical bottle.

How to distinguish the NFTs between PRE and POST "Harvest"?

Through the claim of the physical bottle, hence during the "Harvest", the NFT will incur in a mutation that will make it easily distinguishable, but preserving the art. These two versions of the NFT will have different features, creating a trade-off between two types of users:

NFT before the "Harvest": for investors

This version is for those who wish to invest in wine by eliminating the risk of holding the physical bottle: traders can invest in our collections, keeping the physical bottle in our caveaux; there it will be stored and preserved, waiting to be claimed.

NFT after the "Harvest": for collectors

This version is for those who want to hold the physical bottle and, at the same time, build their own digital wine cellar: once the bottle is claimed, the users will receive at home the box containing the wine with the representation of your NFT. Also, each bottle will be equipped with an NFC tag. Bringing their smartphone close to the NFC tag embedded in the bottle, the users will be directed to a page on Winevo website. At this point, to gain further access, they will have to connect and sign a message with their crypto wallet (e.g. Metamask), proving the ownership of the NFT. Thanks to token gating it is possible to reward holders by giving them the opportunity to create their own digital cellar, where they can display their immutable collection and enjoy exclusive content.

The Caveaux - The first ecosystem of distributed wineries

In our roadmap, we planned to build caveaux that could be accessed only by token gating, custom-built to store investors' bottles. The idea is to create a caveaux at each major location where the collections will be produced. It will not only be the place where the bottles will be stored, but it will be designed as a real meeting place, including restaurants and luxury rooms. In this way, holders can experience the process by which their wine is born and live immersive experiences. The first caveaux will come to life on Mount Etna, where Etna DOC is born, because there we will launch our first collection. Holders will have free access to the vaults via token gating and will benefit from exclusive discounts for the restaurant and rooms. However, the caveaux will be open to all; guests will have to buy a ticket and a share of that will be distributed among the holders.
